In the shadow of the firmament, a multi-colored cosmic wave passed. Almost imperceptibly, it brought about fundamental changes. The ducks, strangely, took on the role of guards. Restaurants floated, their pantries soaked into nothingness. While everything smelled of croissants, the guards departed. Will we survive this enigmatic transformation?

Martin Lopez Lam “A Bouquet of Plastic Flowers”
“A few years ago I found, on a collection books website, an edition that commemorated the 200 years of the botanical expedition of Hipólito Ruiz and José Pavón to the viceroyalty of Peru that speaks of the complications of the draftsmen to record the plants. In 2020, Caelie Wilkes went viral when she confessed that she had been watering a succulent for two years without realising it was made of plastic. The revelation came when she tried to transplant it. She said she felt both fooled and fascinated. Among the drawings of the Ruiz y Pavón expedition there are a few pages that appear incomplete. They are the ones I like the most. I wonder if the illustrator didn’t finish the illustration because of lack of time, laziness, or because the illustrator had also died.
Cemeteries, bars and some museums are full of plastic plants.”

La S Grand Atelier (Vielsalm, Belgium)
Based in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, La S Grand Atelier proposes a series of creation workshops (arts and performance) for the mentally challenged artists. La S investigates a new approach to outsider art, as well as actual artistic practices of the contemporary artists. Far from any sort of compassionate consideration, these workshops were created by a group of professional artists and they distribute the production in all possible ways in all cultural areas. Thanks to the artistic residencies La S also functions as a laboratory which creates interactions and different experiments between these artists usually called “outsiders” and contemporary artists.

Group exhibition
TURBULATOR is a group exhibition of screen printing collectives and individuals gathered around the Turbulator network and the project of the same name, which ends with this exhibition. The exhibition was be created as a collective exhibition of the guests of the Novo Doba festival who during the past five years have printed together in different locations (Porto, Marseille, Vielsalm, Belgrade and Skopje). The accumulation of materials that artists and collectives brought took place until October 8, when the exhibition was open the exhibition for visitors and the festival closed

The artist Goran Stojčetović invites you to fly with him, with pure hearts and bright foreheads, on the back of a beast whose jaws scream a metal vortex that inexorably destroys everything in front of it. On this occasion, a special type of monotype will be created – a turbotype, as Goran defines it. Turbotype is a graphic-painting process with elements of theater and is extremely fun. Come and and let’s groove together!

The Choolers are a hip hop group from Belgium. They make music at La ‘S’ Grand Atelier. The Choolers are a hip-hop group. These are the group members: Antoine Boulange (drums), Jean Camille Charles (guitar), Philippe Marien (vocals), Kostia Botkine (vocals). Their music is created in a studio in Belgium. The studio is called La “S” Grand Atelier. At their performances, musicians mix different musical genres and styles: Hip hop, groove-jazz, trip hop, rock.
